Forged from high carbon steel that takes and keeps incredibly sharp edge. Approximately 12" long with a 7" x full 2" deep blade. Shown with gunstock tiger maple handle, solid steel bolster and three brass pins for added strength.Available in several handle woods. This pattern with it's deep 2" x 7" long blade is the perfect shape for those that like to use a rocking motion for cutting and preparing food with their knife. This knife is made like all of my others, hand forged by myself in my Vermont blacksmith shop. Some forging and hammer marks are left on all my blades to make a one of a kind knife that shows they are truly handmade.
