What this Course is About This is Resource 7 in a series of textile resources created for primary teachers. The aim of this course is to give pupils their first experience of making textiles products through a mix of fun, hands-on activities and creative learning. Pupils will explore a variety of making projects. Practical making activities (pouch, tote bags, Koinobori kite & Printed T shirt Worksheets and games to support learning Cultural, cross curricular, careers and sustainability links Equipment needed and health & safety worksheet Reflect and recall sheet to consolidate knowledge By the end of this course, pupils will have developed an understanding of making textile products and the role they play in our lives, as well as enjoyed creative opportunities to experiment and design with fabrics.
