Step into the future of robotics with Tamiya’s Bipedal Walking Robot Kit—where clever mechanics bring your creation to life with every step. About the Bipedal Mechanical Walking Robot Kit Fun-Powered Walking Robot Kit The Tamiya Bipedal Mechanical Walking Robot Kit lets builders explore motion through a clever weight-shifting system that mimics natural bipedal walking. Powered by a low-RPM motor and high 114.7:1 gear ratio, the robot moves at a steady pace with an impressive 2-hour runtime. It features adjustable gearbox angles for directional changes, limiters to control stride length, and holes for customizing with extra parts. With snap-fit assembly, clear motion mechanics, and hands-on experimentation in balance and turning, this kit offers a fun, educational build perfect for aspiring engineers. Features: Moves by shifting its weight Uses a low-RPM type 130 motor Runs for about 2 hours on AAA batteries Adjustable gearbox angle for turning Limiters control body lean and stride length Snap-fit and screw assembly for easy building Legs have holes for adding custom parts Moves at about 4.8 cm per second
