The SSL UltraViolet 500 Series Stereo EQ brings Fusion's acclaimed Violet stereo EQ section to 500 Series format. An ideal partner to the SSL G-COMP stereo bus compressor module, i t allows 500 Series users to experience the power of SSL master bus EQ in their rack. The UltraViolet EQ takes the Fusion Violet EQ a step further with its unique focus control. Two dedicated mid bands are added for EQ flexibility. The UV-EQ utilizes the traditional SSL features of carefully selected frequencies and response curves to create a musical and intuitive EQ designed to quickly adjust the sound of your mix. Create an EQ. Focus Mode Focus Mode allows users to "zero in" on problem frequencies or specific frequencies they wish to emphasize or attenuate. Pressing the "Focus" switch automatically narrows the selected Q setting further, widening the range of available gain beyond the normal +/- 9dB operation.
