Solid Kalimbas The kalimba is a musical instrument that originated in Africa. It has been loved for centuries and is also known as the "mbira," "sansa," or "thumb piano." It consis ts of a wooden resonating box with metal reeds attached, and when the reeds are plucked with the thumb, it produces a delicate, metallic sound. Solid Kalimbas offer unique features not only in terms of sound but also in design, producing a melodic, beautiful sound. Each model is crafted from high-quality black walnut, sapele, acacia, or maple. They feature a C major scale and are available in 21, 17, and 8-key configurations. The kalimba comes with a dedicated case to protect it from scratches and other damage, as well as a microfiber cloth and cotton bag for cleaning and storing the instrument.
