The .45 Caliber is a pedal created in response to a long-standing request, recreating the overdrive sound of Marshall's 1962 JTM 45 amplifier. It is directly influenced by Malcolm Young's (AC/DC) brilliant, crunchy rhythm tones and Pete Townshend's loud, fiery guitar tone on The Who's album Live at Leeds. While achieving such a sound may seem like an easy feat, perfecting this sound design was a challenge. After more than a year of work, we finally achieved not only the sound, but the feeling as well.
