It's an Active Impedance Converter that incorporates Providence's unique design, taking into account the signal characteristics of instruments like guitars/basses and effects pedals, deliberately avoiding an overly hi-fi sound. It outputs a natural signal that minimizes the so-called active feel and is as faithful as possible to the original sound of the instrument. Since the VITALIZER(R) FB signal passes through the VITALIZER(R) circuit even when the effect is turned off, it delivers a vibrant signal to connected devices. ●FINAL BOOSTER(FB) The FINAL BOOSTER is a full-range booster that prioritizes sound quality. It can control the level of the sound that has been converted to low impedance by the VITALIZER® circuit up to a maximum of 20dB (about 10 times the audible level). Its unique switching method, which only turns the BOOST volume function ON/OFF and always passes the signal through the boost circuit, ensures that the tone remains almost unchanged even at high boost levels. ●Effective usage The VITALIZER(R) is particularly effective when used in locations where you want to minimize changes in sound quality. It can be used in a variety of ways, such as the location closest to the guitar, before volume pedals or wah pedals that tend to deteriorate sound quality, or at the final stage of a system sending the signal to an amplifier. Taking advantage of the FINAL BOOSTER's characteristic of minimal change in tone even when boosted, you can connect it after another effect to boost only the volume, or before a distortion effect to control the amount of distortion with the boost amount. *Please note that if you use this before a wah pedal or other effect, excessive boosting may cause distortion.
