The PSA1 Plus is a premium studio microphone boom with smoother, quieter movement. It is used by attaching a shock mount or microphone (sold separately) to the tip. The compatible load range is from 94g to 1.2kg, and the new spring design ensures accurate and secure positioning even with lighter microphones. The microphone direction remains constant when adjusting the horizontal height, allowing for smooth movement. Additionally, the spring and neoprene arm covers minimize noise. The new cable management feature allows for both USB and XLR cables to be attached, ensuring a neat setup. To secure the arm to the desk, two devices are included: a clamp-type desk mount clamp (compatible with desks up to 7 cm thick) and a screw-type desk mount (compatible with desks up to 5.5 cm thick) that can be inserted into a wiring hole or the like and screwed in. *The image on the left shows the desk mount clamp in use.
