Oh my gosh, I wish you could see this in person! What an exquisite weave this is, from a NY designer sample room, and made in Italy. It is silk and some other natural fiber but I'm not sure what it is, so I've called it a silk blend. The tone on tone, black jacquard weave has a Chinese-inspired decorative motif, exquisitely woven with a combination of textures. The background has a very slightly open basketweave, while the motifs are more tightly woven, with the reflection of light revealing their subtle beauty and shadings. Very refined and elegant, it is a dress weight with a somewhat crisp drape (yet still supple and pliable), perfect for a tailored garment such as a fitted dress, jacket, skirt, evening coat, etc. Dry cleaning recommended.contents: silk blendwidth: 59"origin: NY designer/Italy Show more
