The 385 Overdrive is an amp-like overdrive with incredible dynamics, inspired by the amplifier circuitry inside the 1950s Bell & Howell 385 film projector. The amplifier section of this projector is a dual 6V6 tube type with two controls: volume and tone. Its modest and compact design might lead you to believe that the amp section doesn't have anything particularly special, but once you plug in your guitar you'll find that it's an incredibly responsive amp! It covers everything from a nice rounded clean to screaming overdrive. Our goal with the 385 Overdrive was to unlock the magic of the dynamics of the 385 film projector amplifier and make it easy to recreate this thick overdrive sound with a pedal. Show more
