This is a Norton pickup equipped with Air Backer technology. Air Norton's patented magnet structure reduces the impact of string vibrations that disrupt sustain, dramatically impro ving expressiveness in terms of attack and dynamics. When combined with an Air Zone, Tone Zone, or Steve's Special as the bridge pickup, it blends in nicely with their powerful sound. You can also use it as a neck pickup in combination with the Air Classic bridge model for a medium-power blues rock sound.
