It features four independent level controls: 1 & 2 octaves down and 1 & 2 octaves up, and in polyphonic mode it produces high-quality sounds for both chords and single notes, while in monophonic mode it produces analog-style pitch-shifted sounds. You can add dry signals to blend to your liking without losing the core. By adding fuzz and modulation with different effects in each mode, you can create a heavy sound that you wouldn't expect from a guitar/bass. You can also use an EXP pedal such as the Dunlop/Volume(X)8 to switch between two different settings, or connect an external switch such as the M199 Tap Tempo Switch to turn the FUZZ and MONO switches on and off.
