Sound Hole Kalimbas The kalimba is a musical instrument that originated in Africa. It has been loved for centuries and is also known as the "mbira," "sansa," or "thumb piano." It c onsists of a wooden resonating box with metal reeds attached, and when the reeds are plucked with the thumb, it produces a delicate, metallic sound. Two new 10-key kalimba models with sound holes have been released. The body materials are mahogany and maple. The generous space between the keys makes it easy to set up and play, making these kalimbas even easier to enjoy. The kalimba comes with a dedicated case to protect it from scratches and other damage, as well as a microfiber cloth and cotton bag for cleaning and storing the instrument.
