From a very famous designer, this is a stunning boucle' plaid suiting from the French fabric maker Tissage des Chaumes. The pink blush base fabric is 100% wool (PANTONE 12-1209 is close), and the black, sparkly eyelash fibers form the simple plaid (7.5" x 6.25" repeat). It has a weave of thicker and thinner yarns to create a slightly open basketweave texture with gorgeous drape and a soft hand. It is a medium suiting weight and light peeks through a bit, but it's nearly opaque. Perfect for a classic Chane1-style jacket, suit, skirt, sheath dress, topper coat, etc. Line with silk charmeuse to complete the classic and elegant look.
