THE WORLD'S FAVORITE BASS AMP TONES Reproduce every nuance of the Ampeg(R) RSVTR and 8x10 speaker cabinet in a compact size. BassRIG Super Vintage is an analog amplification creation that captures every nuance of the Ampeg® RSVTR and 8x10 speaker cabinet. Released in 1969, the SVTR was the world's first high-powered bass amp and remains a top choice for bassists today. The BassRIG Super Vintage boasts all the versatility of this classic stack, with deep low end, growling distortion, and extensive control (and no team of roadies required!). It features an entire valve amplifier circuit in a pedal-sized package, with all the controls you need to create the perfect bass amp tone. The BLEND knob adds and mixes in the dry signal (clean signal) to maintain clarity and the low end of the sound. It is equipped with an XLR terminal DI output, which allows you to output line level from the analog cabinet simulator, so you can connect it directly to a mixing console or the like to provide powerful, authentic SVTR tone. The output stage also features ORIGIN EFFECTS' unique post-drive filter, Amp Out EQ, which can be adjusted to suit the amp you're using. This filter ensures compatibility with any amp or cabinet, meaning you don't have to struggle with sound shaping or compromise on clean tone.・GET CONNECTED INSTRUMENT - Enter your bass or other instrument. AMP - Connect to an amplifier or power amplifier. DI OUT - Connect to a mixer or interface. Connect a 9VDC - 9VDC 2.1mm (minimum 150mA) center negative power supply.・SET THE AMP OUT EQ HORN CUT - When using with tweeter-equipped cabinets, set the HORN CUT switch to 2K or 4K for a smooth overdrive tone while protecting the tweeter. LF - Controls booming with larger cabinets or thickens the sound with smaller cabinets. HF - Adds upper mid presence or controls top end when used with modern hi-fi amplifiers.・SHAPE YOUR VOICE The tone control affects the frequency response as well as the overdrive characteristics. TREBLE - Turn clockwise for a brighter tone and more aggressive overdrive, turn counterclockwise for a smoother sound. MIDRANGE - Allows you to cut or boost the mids at three different frequencies. Cutting the low frequencies, especially with clean sounds, will result in a clear, scooped tone. Boosting the highs with overdriven sounds can result in harsh, howling rock distortion. BASS - Turn clockwise for a deeper low end, counterclockwise for a thinner, more percussive sound. Tip: For overdriven sounds, lower BASS settings can improve tightness and definition. ULTRA HI / LO CUT - ULTRA HI adds ultra high frequencies to the preamp. Their impact is reduced as DRIVE is increased. LO CUT removes very low frequencies from the preamp. This is useful for improving low-end clarity in overdriven tones.・DIAL IN YOUR OVERDRIVE GAIN It transitions from clean to drive tones in the same way you would turn up a classic amp without a master volume.・BLEND IN YOUR DRIVE BLEND Turn clockwise to add more dry (clean) bass guitar signal, which helps maintain clarity when using overdriven sounds. DI OUT - Balanced XLR output provides an 8x10 bass cabinet analog-simulated line-level output for PA or recording interface. DI CAB SIM switch - When this switch is set to the FX position, the cabinet simulator is active only when the BassRIG Super Vintage is on. In the FX + BYP position, the cabinet simulator is always active. DI GROUND switch - Select GND if using only the DI output, or LIFT to eliminate ground loop hum when using both outputs.
