The Excess V2 is an updated version of the cult favorite Excess from the OBNE lineup. While retaining the rich harmonics and impressive sound, it now officially features the hidden modes of the Excess. The distortion is more cutting-edge, more alternative, and the size is significantly smaller. The distortion section is perfectly tuned for the cool, driving feel you'll only find in the OBNE. It's versatile, offering everything from crispy, light distortion to a wall of heavy, fuzz-like distortion. The modulation section offers a choice of dense chorus or eccentric short delay. A Harmonize Fifth Delay, known as the hidden mode of Excess, has also been added. The two sections can be connected in series or parallel, creating dramatic variations: from simple yet effective routing of distortion to spatial sounds, to placing the modulation in front for exciting textures, or running the two in parallel for interesting combinations of clean modulation and distortion sounds.
