This fabulous novelty pleated stripe fabric made in Italy comes from a NY designer and is backed to keep the pleats in place. The backing adds body to the drape when it is draped as it comes off the roll, with stripes and pleats running horizontally. But there is much more drape when the fabric is turned to make the drape and pleats run vertically, which is how we recommend cutting your garment. The pleating is intermittent and has a "twist" every couple of inches, so the texture is very eye-catching! The stripe repeat is 33" and the colors are creamy white, off black, army green, coral and nectarine (PANTONE 15-1247, 16-1544, 17-1009, etc.).
