☆ASPR (Asapura) / Drum Head☆ [S2 BLACK] The Asapura S2 series 2-ply head has been a favorite of many drummers since its release, thanks to the sharp attack and rich mid-low range p roduced by the two types of film. While the existing light, medium, and heavy models all used two sheets of the same film, the new S2 BLACK uses two types of film: black and clear. This is shaped using a unique locking system, resulting in a touch and sound that's a little different from previous S2 models. The first thing you'll notice when you actually strike it is the sharp attack. This is complemented by the thick mid-low range that only 2-ply drums can provide, and the subtly different vibrations of the two types of film work together to create a rich resonance and natural release time.
