Roger Sadowsky's new goal was to further refine his alread y globally successful bass design through detailed refinements. With his self-developed active circuit, he has succeeded in elevating the J/J bass sound to a new level. The typical Sadowsky tone—clear, clear bass, a modern yet not overly aggressive midrange, and clear highs—all of these bass characteristics are faithfully preserved in the MetroLine series, manufactured exclusively in Germany. Extremely lightweight, these basses are perfect for bassists looking for a modern bass sound with easy handling for the stage. Equipped with original parts such as hum-canceling JJ pickups, an active circuit with bypass, passive tone control, treble/bass EQ boost, ultra-lightweight tuners (tuners), and a bridge that produces excellent response, this guitar offers world-class quality in both sound and playability. This vintage-style J/J model features an ash body and a veneer maple neck.
