Richter Straps are high-quality straps made in Germany, handcrafted from the finest leather. The creator, Lars Richter, made his living as a wholesaler supplying leather to furnitu re and leather goods manufacturers. However, when he checked out the straps being sold for use with the guitar he played as a hobby, he was disappointed by the poor quality of the existing products and decided to start making his own. With a wide range of models available, you can consider total coordination with your instrument and costume, rather than just using it as a tool to hang your instrument when playing standing up. Each model has a theme, and we use a variety of oil finishes, waxes, and gloss finishes to create a texture that matches that theme. By tanning the leather using pure veg tannage (tannins extracted from natural tree bark), the leather becomes more absorbent and breathable, and the more it is used, the more it develops its character.
