[dB One] "dB One" is a cymbal and drum head that reduces the volume by approximately 80%, maintaining the touch, feel and precise pitch of an acoustic drum set while still providing a level of sound that allows conversation amongst those around you. dB One Cymbals These stainless steel cymbals feature a unique cymbal hole pattern called dBalance, designed to accurately simulate the playing feel of a standard cast cymbal. They reduce sound pressure by approximately 80%, providing the optimal volume for a cymbal sound in a drum kit strung with dB One Head. dB One Drumheads These unprecedented drum heads allow you to freely play with a drum set that has significantly more controlled volume than a drum set with standard drum heads. By balancing with the resonant head, you can adjust the pitch and volume, and while remaining faithful to the kit's tone, they reduce the volume by approximately 80% compared to standard drum heads, allowing you to reproduce a full-volume tone. Three types are available. dB One Bass Drum Heads This bass drum head is based on a mesh head called ShockWave Mesh, and features a urethane-like material called Kinetic Transfer Foam (KTF) attached to the underside. This mutes and adjusts the energy transmitted to the head when the drum is struck, reducing the sound output. It also features an impact patch on the front, creating a structure that produces a quiet yet defined sound. This head offers enhanced attack articulation while maintaining durability. dB One Tom Heads The basic structure is similar to that of a dB One bass drum head, but it is equipped with a KTF mute on the back of the ShockWave mesh head and an impact patch on the front, making it a tom head with a structure that allows for a small sound yet produces a defined sound. dB One Snare Heads This snare head features wire-free Snare Sim technology. Snare Sim is a laser-cut 12-mil film positioned on the bottom of a two-layer structure. When struck under tension, it contacts the upper ShockWave mesh head, dramatically reducing the force required to create sound while recreating the buzz of a snare wire and creating the character of a strainer. 14 Hihats 16 Crash 18 Crash 20 Ride Bag 10, 12, 16 dB One Tom Batter 14 dB One Snare Batter 22 dB One Bass Batter
