Lucía (Sandra Echeverría) and Carlos (Juan Pablo Medina) are about to be married, but when Carlos’ best friend doesn’t respond to the wedding invitation, Carlos travels from Mexico to Madrid to track him down. In the frenzied wedding preparations in Mexico City, Lucía is distracted and crashes into León (Sebastián Zurita), who is equally distracted by his upcoming nuptials. Now Lucía and Carlos, with only a week until “death do us part,” have to figure out who really is the love of their lives. Mientras Carlos (Juan Pablo Medina) viaja a Madrid en busca de su mejor amigo, Javier (Erick Elias), para que esté presente en su boda, Lucía (Sandra Echeverría), su prometida, atropella por accidente a León (Sebastián Zurita), y de este encuentro nacerá “el amor a primera vista”, aunque Lucía no sospecha que él está por casarse en una semana con Ana (Marimar Vega), la que hasta ese momento era “el amor de su vida”.
