The patented VT system (ES 1119430 U) is based on two fundamental concepts: it does not change the bridge dimensions of the existing standard cavity of the ST model, and it uses the existing bridge pivot. To optimize the movement of the bridge, we adopted a part (fulcrum) that replaces the conventional concept of screw support, changed the pivot's center of movement, and redesigned the saddle, plate, and block to give the movement a greater amplitude. The geometry of the plate's support points on the fulcrum has also been modified to minimise friction to virtually non-existence, resulting in a system that produces a homogeneous action completely free of unwanted noise and that is very satisfying to musical performances.
