☆ASPR (Asapura) / Drum Head☆ [KICKA-TACK] A request we received from rock endorsers, primarily, for a bass drum head that would produce a more solid attack and depth. We tackled th is challenge for about three years, creating dozens of prototypes, before finally arriving at this head. Named KICKA-TACK, it conveys the "attack of the kick sound." It's made from ST-250 clear film and a smooth white ring. This combination was achieved using a completely different molding method than ever before. Like our other bass drum heads, this head includes an SL-PAD. This combination alone produces a punchy sound that is different from conventional products. [Artist Voice from Yoshiyori Imai] I really like how the sharp attack and rich low end are picked up by the microphone in a very nice balance. As I use it more and more, the feel has become more and more familiar to my feet, and I can't go back to my previous head (laughs). I've tested it countless times since the early prototype stage, and the quality even before it was completed was truly amazing, and it has become the standard for me as a head for the striking surface.
