From Italy, this is a fine quality yarn dyed shirting, lightweight yet opaque with a cottony drape and about 10% widthwise stretch. The vertical striped design changes from right t o left (30.75" horizontal repeat) and the colors are black and white, the black appearing more like dark gray because it is mixed with the white. For shirts, tunics, tops, dresses, etc! It doesn't have much stretch, so you could get away with mixing the direction of the stripes if you wish.
