A flood of sound for shoegaze MELEE is a distortion and reverb combo pedal that creates a huge wall of noise. Create your ideal Wall of Noise by using the joystick to adjust the amount and mix of each effect, with three reverb programs, the order of distortion and reverb, and various other settings! algorithm Melee comes with three different reverb programs, which can be changed by simultaneously pressing the bypass and sustain switches. ● Ambient Reverb: A reverb capable of huge trails. Perfect for soaring melodic lines and shoegaze chord progressions. ● Octave Down Reverb: A lovely, eerie, dark reverb sound with an added octave down similar to Slo's Dark mode. ● Reverse Reverb with Feedback: Adds reverse reverb to the original sound, perfect for melancholy, slow chord playing or massive reverse feedback. MOMENTARY When the Bypass switch is off (bypassed), if you hold down the Bypass switch, the effect will be on while you are holding it down. When you release the Bypass switch, the effect will turn off and fade out. Sustain: The reverb trail will crescendo to its maximum while you hold the switch. Releasing the switch will cause the reverb to decrescendo. Pressing the Sustain switch and immediately releasing it will cause the reverb decay to continue. Pressing the switch again will cancel it. JOYSTICK Use the joystick to freely mix distortion and reverb. Left and right set the amount of reverb, up and down set the amount of distortion. Fully left is 100% dry, fully right is 100% wet, fully down is completely clean, and fully up is maximum distortion. D>R | R>D The D>R | R>D switch allows you to swap the order of the distortion and reverb. This connection order makes a big difference in the effect. In D>R, single notes and chords are clearly audible, as in a typical pedalboard setup. On the other hand, in R>D, single notes and chords blend together to form a huge wall of sound.
