To meet these demands at a high level, NEO has refined the QAC-202 based on user feedback. The new cable, the QAC-222, retains the powerful sound presence that is the hallmark of the QAC-202, while also offering greater clarity and a wider range of expressive capabilities. ●The QAC-222 series uses Type 1 OFC conductor C1011, which is produced entirely domestically. In addition, we developed a hardened HC-OFC conductor for optimal matching with instruments and microphones. This achieves the accuracy and wide range required by professionals, unmatched by standard OFC audio cables, while maintaining presence across all frequency bands for a highly workable sound. The QAC-222 is centered around the HC-OFC conductor, while retaining the design of the QAC-202. The insulator covering the conductor is made of low-dielectric polyethylene (PE), which reduces the cable's capacitance, reducing signal transmission loss and achieving excellent high-frequency response. The inner sheath covering the insulator is made of low-density polyethylene (LDPE). By setting the hardness of the inner sheath to a different level from that of the insulator, vibrations transmitted through the cable are effectively suppressed, resulting in a sharper sense of positioning. While retaining the philosophy of the QAC-202, the QAC-222 series expands the possibilities of musical expression.
