Manufactured by Shin Ei in Japan in the late '60s and '70s, the FY-2 is a rare and mysterious fuzz device. Known for its popularity among Colin Greenwood (Radiohead), Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys), and William Reid (Jesus and Mary Chain), it possesses a unique character that doesn't fit anywhere in the fuzz genre that continues to this day. The Bee Box faithfully recreates the raw, gated tone of the Shin Ei FY-2. Its savage, soul-stirring fuzz sound is sure to be a hit in the modern scene.
