Even when driven, the original overtones are not lost, allowing the bass tone to stand out even more without being drowned out by the ensemble. The post-gain active EQ allows you to adjust the high frequencies (PRESENCE) and low frequencies (BODY). By boosting the low frequencies with the BODY knob, you can create a bold, full sound, and by boosting the high frequencies with the PRESENCE knob, you can create an edgy sound. Whether used as an always-on preamp or as a drive pedal for extreme saturation, the AK470 perfectly conveys the bassist's full expression.
