The first SAKAE OSAKA HERITAGE snare drum was created by building on previous releases from scratch and brushing it up to better suit modern music. All of the research we've done i nto sound from the music scene has been poured into it, further enhancing the stability of the mid-low range. The material is made of high-quality maple, which emphasizes a balanced sound and rich overtones. Although it is the same maple wood used, the thickness of each piece of wood and how it is layered to form the shell have been completely redesigned, resulting in a more refined, rich, and pleasant sound. ●In the sound design process, we place the utmost importance on improving sound pressure and sound directionality. We have tested hundreds of combinations of materials, thickness, depth, and part shapes, and to accurately evaluate the results, we not only rely on our deep knowledge of musical instruments and many years of experience, but also evaluate the results in ensembles at live performances. This pursuit of sound is the foundation of all development at SAKAE. ●Quality SAKAE OSAKA HERITAGE's engineers work closely with world-renowned drummers, and the three pillars of the SAKAE development process are prototyping, feedback, and improvement. The development process emphasizes a seamless flow that integrates the artist's suggestions and the sound engineer's requests. Tested countless times in live performances and studio recordings, the sound is shaped with exceptional precision by combining often-overlooked key elements such as the unity of the sound in the ensemble, balance with other instruments, harmonic overtones, and reverberation. ●Die-cast lugsThe lugs also help transmit vibrations that the shell cannot, and the one-piece design allows sound to be transmitted from top to bottom more quickly, resulting in a sharper sound. The strainer is smooth and easy to operate. It locks securely while eliminating unnecessary operating noise. Snare wire: Ultra high carbon wire (higher carbon content than regular high carbon wire) provides faster response and louder sound. Our unique manufacturing process eliminates the problem of wire breaking when made harder. ●Mighty Halo Hoop The hoop edges face inward, producing a powerful sound with controlled high-frequency overtones.
