From a NY designer, this is a wonderful silk jacquard fabric, medium weight and opaque with a soft drape that has a bit of body. It has navy "seed" shapes on black (PANTONE 19-3920 ) with a little bit of texture/relief, combining matte and satiny fibers, and the reverse is more dull and not meant to be seen. It would make a wonderful robe, kimono, or luxury lining for a tailored jacket or coat. Smooth, elegant and classic!
