The VMC Sinker Stops are an essential "utility" component for any angler who fishes heavy cover. When you are flipping, pitching, or punching, a sliding weight is your enemy; it can snag on limbs or fall away from your lure, ruining your presentation. These stops provide a secure, "peg" that keeps your weight and hook locked together as a single, streamlined unit. Key Performance Features: High-Density Neoprene: Unlike standard rubber stoppers that can dry out, crack, or slide under pressure, these are made from a dense neoprene material. This ensures a death-grip on your line that won't budge even after repeated "punches" through thick mats or heavy brush. Line-Safe Application: Traditional methods like using a toothpick or crimping lead can damage your line's structural integrity. These neoprene stops are completely non-abrasive, eliminating the risk of nicks or weak spots on your fluorocarbon or braid. Streamlined "Punching" Profile: By keeping the sinker tight against the head of your bait, these stops prevent the "separation" that causes snags. Your rig becomes a "bullet" that can penetrate through grass, lily pads, and hyacinth with ease. Easy-Thread Wire Loops: Each pack comes with the stops pre-loaded on individual wire loops. To apply, simply thread your fishing line through the loop and slide the stop onto the line.
