The ES3 -Echo Shifter- has evolved into an even more imaginative delay pedal. ◆Analog mode / Digital mode selector switch While retaining the ease of use of the previous model ES2, the successor model ES3 now features a new digital delay mode. You can easily select between analog and digital modes with the flip of a switch. In analog mode, the delay sound is generated using a BBD (Bucket Brigade Device) element, and the delay time can be set from 40ms to a maximum of 600ms. Like the ES2, it has a natural, warm sound with little thinning and ensures good sound projection. In digital mode, the delay time can be set from 40ms up to 1,500ms, allowing for extremely long delay effects. ◆ INSTRUMENT/LINE LEVEL selector switch to suit the input instrument or pedal INSTRUMENT: Suitable for input levels from a typical electric guitar. Select this if you are using the ES3 as a guitar effect pedal. LINE: Suitable for inputting high-output signals, such as when connecting the ES3 after a booster, connecting it to an amplifier's effects loop (send/return), or even when using it as a keyboard effects pedal. Classical and stable housing design: The delay time is adjusted using a fader, just like the ES2, which combines classic looks with ease of use. The exterior also features a classic design, with a wooden frame positioned on the side of the mint-colored housing. Its large size provides a sense of stability, and its unique design is reminiscent of tabletop use. ◆Tap function allows you to set the optimal tempo while playing ◆MODULATION ON/OFF switch By using this with a short delay time setting, you can recreate an effect similar to a chorus. ◆ OSCILLATION switch for powerful oscillation Pressing and holding the TAP/OSC switch turns on OSCILLATION, which produces intense oscillations.
