The popular Forestone reeds are now available in Black Bamboo! The addition of carbon material provides a more natural playing feel. This is a completely new reed made from a new m aterial originating in Japan, and was developed after 30 years of research. Using a special bamboo-derived material (patented) and the world's only mold injection molding process, we have created a synthetic reed unlike any other artificial reed to date. Double processing also improves adhesion to the mouthpiece. Our products are used by customers in over 30 countries around the world, primarily in Japan, Europe, and the US. It is very close to a natural reed, and the incorporation of carbon material gives it a firm, natural feel, making it fun to play in any situation. Made from a special material of Japanese bamboo fiber and PP material, 50% cellulose fiber from natural bamboo pulp, and now with the addition of carbon, we have achieved a tone, elasticity, and stability that is close to that of regular natural cane reeds. While conventional reeds, including those made from regular natural cane, are shaped by cutting, Forestone is the only reed in the world that is made using a mold injection molding process. The tip is fixed to within 0.1 mm, resulting in an extremely stable molded product with almost no variation during manufacturing. Show more
