From a NY designer, this cable textured matelasse' knit is fabulous! The color is black, and it has about 30% widthwise and 15% lengthwise stretch, but is quite stable. The cable p attern runs in staggered vertical rows, and it is a medium weight, soft and drapey doubleknit with lots of dimension and texture.
