The maker, Lars Richter, made his living as a leather wholesaler supplying furniture and leather goods manufacturers, but when he checked out the straps available for sale to use on the guitar he plays as a hobby, he was disappointed by the poor quality of the existing products and started making his own.These straps are not mass-produced, but are carefully handcrafted one by one by a small team of people. The Raw II Nappa is made from high-quality Italian nappa leather, which is incredibly soft and comfortable. The leather lining also provides just the right amount of support without being too rigid.
