This blend comes from the benchlands of Oakville and Rutherford, including Hill Ranch near the Cakebread family home. These vineyards benefit from unique soils, morning sun, and af ternoon shade from the Mayacamas range, allowing slow, even ripening. The blend captures the distinct mesoclimate and soil nuances of each appellation. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon 22 months aging in French oak barrels, 60% new. Tasting Note: Expression of dark fruit, roundness, texture and a lingering finish.
