This 100% Pinot Noir is sourced from the Annahala and Apple Barn estate vineyards in the Anderson Valley, planted mostly on gravelly loam soils. The fruit was hand-harvested at night, sorted, and destemmed before a cold soak in open-top tanks. Fermentation began in open-top tanks using natural yeasts with daily punch downs for gentle extraction. The wine aged for 10 months in French oak barrels before blending and bottling. Tasting Note: Aromas of sweet black cherry, red raspberry, rose petal, and subtle baking spice open on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with silky tannins and balanced acidity, showing bright strawberry and plum flavors. The finish is fresh and persistent, showing gentle mineral notes and subtle toasted oak. Region: Anderson Valley, California Variety: Pinot Noir Rating: Not rated
