The Byzance Vintage series is crafted from the traditional B20 bronze alloy and developed in collaboration with Benny Greb, featuring innovative design and a unique sound never before heard before. It was created for drummers who desire a truly unique sound and the ultimate expression of their musicality. These are remarkable, cutting-edge cymbals with a highly engaging sound character. Sand HiHat: Sandblasting is done by spraying fine sand particles onto the surface of the cymbal, transforming the sharp high range into a rounded, mature, and mellow sound. Various hammering techniques give the harmonics a complex depth, and the razing is designed in detail, with the top being processed only on the backside to control the sound spread. The weight is also a distinctive combination of an extra-thin top and a heavy bottom, producing a soft, crisp, and clear sound. This 16 hi-hat inherits all of the delicate and sharp character of the 14 sand hat, without the heavy, sluggish feel typical of large-diameter cymbals, and is an attractive hi-hat with a generous dynamic range that produces the low tones and deep grooves that only a large diameter cymbal can produce.
