This is a gorgeous viscose/cotton faux fur from a NY designer, with very short hair, and a nap that varies in direction, to create a pelted look. The "pelts" are about 4" wide and run the length of the fabric. It is medium weight with some body in the drape and a lovely sheen to the jet black fur. The backing is soft and smooth (also black).
