Martin-style 3M from the 1950s now in stock! The Style 3M is synonymous with Martin ukuleles. Released in 1916, it underwent numerous minor changes and was beloved by countless artists until it was discontinued. This particular ukulele is believed to date from the late 1950s, after the ornaments and other details had been removed. The tuning pegs have been replaced, a sticker from the previous dealer is still attached to the back of the headstock, and the saddles have very little adjustment left. However, the string height is approximately 2.1mm on both the 1st and 4th strings, providing comfortable playability, and the ukulele is in better condition than expected for its age. Unlike the tone of today's mahogany, which can sometimes have a dull core, this has an enchanting sound that combines clear contours and warmth. Don't miss it! Hard case included
