The MercuryX is a pedal-type reverb unit that combines studio-quality sound with maximum flexibility. You can create your own custom reverb by combining modules such as modulation, dynamics, preamp, and pitch. [8 types of Meris reverb] MercuryX includes 8 different reverbs. "Ultraplate" and "Cathedra" are reverbs that were also included in the popular Mercury7 model, and were designed with influence from the unique sci-fi soundtrack of the movie "Blade Runner." "The 78 Room," "Plate," and "Hall" are studio classics that give you the exact sound you imagine. "Spring," "Prism," and "Gravity" are special sounds developed for MercuryX, and their uniqueness and beauty make them sounds that make you say, "As expected of Meris." [It's now a combined delay and reverb! Feedback routing] The input signal is split into two: dry and wet. The wet signal passes through a filter and then enters the same feedback section as the delay. The signal then passes through a pre-delay circuit, and the first thing that will surprise you is that the parameters are the same as those of a normal delay pedal. Typically, when we talk about reverb pre-delay, we think of it as a parameter that is set to less than one second, so that the reverb starts to sound a little later than the original sound. If I were to describe the effect in words, I would say it goes something like "Jing... zing." However, the MercuryX's delay time is as long as 2.54 seconds, and it also has a feedback parameter, so you can create a delay + reverb effect like "Jah... Sizzle Sizzle Sizzle Sizzle Sizzle" with just one unit. [Infinite combinations... a wide range of effects like a multi-effector] Modular effects such as dynamics and pitch can be inserted in various positions, such as before the delay circuit, after the delay circuit, or within the feedback loop. Unique reverb sounds that previously required multiple effects, such as distorting only the wet sound in a preamp circuit or adding tremolo, can now be created entirely within the MercuryX.・24-bit A/D and D/A・DSP: 32 bit floating point・Sample Rate: 48000 Hz Input impedance: 1 Meg Ohm・SNR: 115 dB Typical Frequency response: 20Hz-20kHz Maximum input level: +9 dBu (instrument level setting) +12.5 dBu (line/synth level setting) Power Supply: 9V DC, center negative, 300mA, 2.1mm jack (power supply sold separately) Bypass (switchable): True Bypass (relay) / Analog Buffered Dimensions: W 18.5 x D 11.5 x H 5 cm・Weight: 680g
