Product Description Made In Japan! Custom drum manufacturer Drummer's Bass has released a custom snare drum with a steel shell made in Japan! [CUSTOM STEEL SNARE] The 1mm thick ste el shell is 100% made in Japan and is chrome plated and has a center bead. The edges are formed by folding the shell over, creating a unique "Flat Hem" effect. The shell is folded over at 1 inch, then curved to a thickness of 2mm. The head is also made by ASPR, a Japanese drumhead manufacturer. The steel shell's sharp attack and sound image are complemented by a stable mid-low range body and a cohesive sound. It has good response and is an all-rounder that can be used in any genre.
