MB: Marcus Bonna Marcus Bonna, founder of MB (Marcus Bonna), played the horn with the Sao Paulo Symphony Orchestra from 1982 to 2002. During his daily performances, Bonna was fed up with the weight of his horn case, which was always a hassle when traveling, and he wondered, "Isn't there a way to make it easier and safer to carry the horn?" "I want more people to be able to enjoy the horn, an instrument I love, by being freed from unnecessary worries!" This is what led me to create my first original horn case in 1991, a lighter, more compact, and newly designed instrument. To Bona's surprise, his case design was well received by the orchestra members, and his new fiberglass case design quickly became popular within the orchestra. This was the beginning of the MB case. When the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra performed in São Paulo in 1991, the horn players showed great interest in Mr. Bona's case. This led to orders not only from within Brazil but also from overseas, and in order to spread these cases to horn players around the world, Mr. Bona founded MB, a company named after himself. Today, MB not only produces horn cases, but also cases for trumpets, trombones, clarinets, oboes, bassoons, and other wind instruments, all of which are individually handmade and loved by musicians around the world. MB has now grown to export approximately 480 cases per month to over 25 countries, establishing itself as the leading brand of wind instrument cases.
