This Patina brass shell snare drum features a Patina fin ish and edges crafted by a pork pie factory in the USA. This model has been deliberately finished to give the appearance of patina. When production first began, the lineup only included sizes 13-7, but in response to requests from many drummers, a 14x6.5 model was added in 2017. The open high range that is characteristic of Pork Pie is perfectly balanced with a tight, solid core, and the powerful, wild sound of the 14-inch diameter adds to its appeal to a wide range of musical styles, but it is particularly well suited to rock, hard rock, and metal sounds.
