TENUTO is a superb compressor that adds flashy compression and rich harmonics packed with the flavor of guitar compression. This two-knob compressor has the unique, booming character of the Red Box, synonymous with guitar compressors, while retaining a lustrous, exquisitely original sound. SENDS controls the strength of the compressor, with turning left for maximum and turning right for minimum. Even when applied lightly, the rich harmonics that are characteristic of the TENUTO are added, increasing the three-dimensionality and thickness of the sound. Despite the lack of extreme noise, it provides a sweet, musical sustain that is truly TENUTO! Be sure to check out the superb guitar compressor from HUMAN GEAR! Until then, my favorite guitar compressor was the vintage MXR cursive logo. However, there are many people who do not like the "pop" sound that occurs when the attack hits. Of course, this is one of MXR's strengths, but the Tenuto Comp is a compressor that changes the source sound as little as possible. As always, we prioritized tone over functionality, so that the tone remains glossy even when the compressor kicks in and there is little distortion even at the attack point. We've also added a little popping sound. This is because I felt that the prototype without sound had lost some of its sexiness or musicality.
