This wonderful Italian wool doublecloth coating has a cozy brushed texture, a soft hand and lots of body in the drape because it is quite thick. It is an opaque and heavy weight, y et not "weighty". The layers of the doublecloth are sewn together and can be pulled apart (with some effort). It has a deep mahogany tweed color on one side, and a sandy light brown on the other (PANTONE 19-1420, 16-1105-ish). Excellent quality coating weight, perfect for winter coats and jackets.
