The MXR M231 TRS Split + Tap is a compact footswitch that combines a TRS splitter with tap tempo control. The splitter function, consisting of three jacks (TRS, LEFT, and RIGHT), can split a stereo signal from a TRS into mono L/R, or combine two mono signals into one TRS. The tap tempo control lets you use a foot switch to control the tap tempo of effects such as delay, allowing for real-time operation on compatible effects. This pedal is ideal for use in combination with effect pedals such as the M309 Joshua Ambient Echo, which has stereo output and supports tap switches. Passive TRS splitter and tap tempo control in one pedal The TRS and L/R jacks are all passive and reversible. Splits a TRS signal into mono L/R signals. Combines stereo L/R signals into a single TRS signal. Momentary switches control parameters such as corresponding spatial effects.
