The top is made of Swiss spruce, and the back and sides are made of Indian rosewood, both of which are the finest materials hand-selected by our dedicated staff during the 2023 Martin Factory Tour. The Swiss spruce top provides the brilliant, clear overtones and soft, rich high-mids you'd expect from a 000. Combined with the medium scale of the 000 body, even light picking produces a soft, mellow, enveloping tone, creating a more vibrant, high-quality sound than the standard 28-style. Although it is a 28 style, the selection of ebony for the binding gives it a modern and luxurious look. The fingerboard is made of black ebony, the neck is of course made of pure mahogany, and the bracing is made of Adirondack spruce, making this a special guitar crafted to the exacting specifications you'd expect from a custom shop!
