Florist is a hy brid effect that combines slap delay and modulation. Each of the two delay channels has a different modulation effect, allowing you to create multi-chorus or wobble-like effects with each channel moving independently. Developed in collaboration with Non-Human Audio, Florist is based on their Slow Loris (slap delay + modulation) and features improved functionality for more complex control. Although it's based on Slow Loris, it's not just a simple modification. For example, Florist has a faster slap delay speed, and the automatic attack detection circuit that determines the depth of modulation applied to the delay circuit uses the same structure as a compressor. Additionally, by adding a second delay channel that employs a different modulation effect and attack detection, you can achieve effects such as a flanger's "through-zero" or a tri-chorus. The modulation applied to slap delay responds to the strength of your picking; a stronger attack results in a deeper modulation effect. The dry signal and the signals from the two delays each have independent volume controls (DRY, WET A, WET B), allowing you to blend them to your preferred balance. Each of the two delay channels allows for independent control of the modulation depth (INTENSITY A, INTENSITY B), enabling sound shaping while balancing the WET effect for each channel. Turning on the right footswitch (GHOSTS) significantly increases the feedback (number of times) on both delay lines. It adds a more complex, surreal, falling effect. Its distinguishing feature is that it can create not only simple chorus and slap delay sounds, but also thick, modulated sounds and even strangely distorted sounds.
